The Concordia Summer Entrepreneurship Retreat is a five-day on-campus experience for high school girls entering their junior or senior year designed to empower their identity and leadership through the tools of entrepreneurship and well-being.

Event held March 11, 2024 Patrick Thueson became President of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota in March 2020, but previously served as the organization's Chief Operating Officer and CFO. In these roles, he oversaw various departments including Services, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Marketing & Communications, and Information Technology. Thueson has been with LSS of Minnesota since 2007. In his role as president, Thueson is dedicated to maintaining LSS' strong reputation as a leader in developing innovative and impactful social services in Minnesota.

Americans today are experiencing unprecedented tension in their workplaces, friendships, and homes. Our society is often perceived as being trapped in a self-reinforcing cycle of tribalism, outrage, and mistrust, presenting significant challenges to effective leadership across both public and private sectors. This event aims to address vital questions: How can we collaboratively work towards the common good amidst deep societal divisions? How can we treat each other with respect and decency? What role can local and regional leaders play in a political landscape dominated by national issues? How can we enhance the trustworthiness of our social, economic, and political institutions?

Conducted by the Sheila and Robert Challey Institute for Global Innovation and Growth, this survey examines student perceptions about viewpoint diversity and campus freedom, human progress and future outlooks, and student attitudes towards entrepreneurship, capitalism, socialism, and the influence of college on these views. Jesus is one of the most important figures in the history of religion. There is, however, significant disagreement among four Abrahamic faiths about who Jesus was/is. The panelists—who are also good friends—will provide four different perspectives on Jesus while modeling interfaith respect for differences.

Scott Winship is a leading researcher in social mobility and poverty issues. He delves into the causes and effects of poverty, economic inequality, and insecurity. Dr. Winship's impressive career also includes work at the Joint Economic Committee, where he initiated the Social Capital Project - exploring the dynamics of social relationships. With a strong academic background from Harvard University and a prolific record in publications and congressional testimonies, he's a key voice shaping antipoverty policies in the United States.
